Dark Sea

Why can I not forget all ships that pass?
As memories and dreams of long ago
Be it yesterday or my tomorrow
The breached ocean below the sun casting.
Where is the moon to rip and close my thoughts?
Waves against the earth crashing on the shore
Remnants of the past left among the mor.
Nestled deep and further past measured knots.
And lay rest to my aching affection.
Because I still love what I had forefront
And nothing is gone in this open sea
But I can't explain this recollection
Nor do I care to have all this affront
May the depths of darkness forget for me
